Youth Are the Future Summer Camp, an interactive summer camp that teaches students entering grades 7 – 9
- leadership skills
- grant-writing skills
- team building skills
- public speaking skills
- and how to become involved in their communities
Youth Are the Future Summer Camp
ran from July 6 – July 29. It was a great success. Congratulations to the twenty amazing middle school age campers who participated and completed the rigourous grant making, community organizing and leadership curriculum. Thank you to our thirteen peer counselors from YAR and Youth Works. And finally a big shout out to our Director, Christina Stewart who has directed our camp this year and last and has been on the YAR Board for nine years. We could not have done it without you.
